The Origins of PJKT 72

PJKT 72 was founded in early 2023 with a bold vision: to revolutionize how the world sources and refines advanced carbon materials—specifically graphite and graphene—using sustainable, scalable methods. The company emerged from a convergence of entrepreneurial leadership, energy sector insight, and cutting-edge academic research.

The cornerstone of PJKT 72’s technology platform was developed at the University of Wyoming (UW) by a pioneering research team led by Dr. TeYu Chin, a physicist specializing in plasma-material interactions.

Their work focused on microwave-assisted plasma reactions capable of converting coal, plastic waste, and other carbonaceous materials into high-purity synthetic graphite. The method stood out for its energy efficiency, selective REE recovery capabilities, and adaptability for modular deployment.

Recognizing the commercial potential of this work, PJKT 72 entered into a licensing agreement with the University of Wyoming Research Corporation (doing business as the Wyoming Technology Transfer and Research Products Center) in 2023.

This license granted PJKT 72 the exclusive global rights to develop, scale, and commercialize the microwave plasma conversion process across a range of feedstocks and end products.

From its inception, PJKT 72 positioned itself at the intersection of materials science, energy innovation, and blockchain finance, combining:

Metallurgical Coal Mining

Natural Gas Exploration

Microwave plasma reactor development

Synthetic graphite and graphene production

Rare earth and critical mineral recovery

Fractionalized tokenization of carbon mineral and ESG assets

PJKT 72 is backed by a growing network of engineers, scientists, and advisors—With founding partner Dr. David Van Kleeck — a retired Shell executive with deep expertise in technology development — and legal leadership from General Counsel and co-founder Colin Gerald Orion Wood, Esq., PJKT 72 has assembled a uniquely qualified team driving innovation at the intersection of energy, materials, and law

PJKT 72 has since expanded operations across Texas, Alabama, Tennessee, and Wyoming, with commercialization efforts anchored in Sugar Land, TX and pilot development partnerships with the University of Wyoming.

ABOUT OUR MINE
